Round 7 Continues

28 Nov 2014 by Kat Muir

Round 7 continues this weekend and players will no doubt have their thoughts elsewhere after the passing of Phillip Hughes during the week.

As communicated by Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland yesterday, Cricket Australia recommends that club cricket (Grade/Premier and Community) continues as scheduled this weekend. At a time like this, it is important for the community to get together and Australia’s local cricket clubs provide an appropriate and fitting opportunity for that.

To pay tribute to Phillip Hughes and celebrate his contribution to cricket, we ask that all players wear a black armband in this weekend’s matches.

Head back to the club after the games for Match Reports & Tool of the Week. Meals will be available.

This week’s menu: Chicken Parma, Salad & Chips
Dessert: Homemade Chocolate Mousse

Adults: $9
Kids: $7

Chips/Nuggets available for kids: $5
